1 February 2011 Meeting CANCELLED

Due to the extreme weather expected, I'm cancelling tonight's meeting.

The next meeting will be March 1st at Fairgrounds Coffee as usual.

It's been very challenging this year balancing all my various commitments. Between family, work and volunteering, SAB Cafe Francais has suffered. I have a renewed focus and I'll use this month to make the following meetings better.

I am sorry for not posting as often as I should. I will be posting the notes from the September meeting shortly. I also have information that I recieved at a parent conference hosted by the TDSB.

The last meeting in October we reviewed basic verbs and their conjugation, the first group of verbs ending in -er such as manger(to eat), the second group of verbs ending in -ir such finir(to finish), and the third group of verbs ending in -re such as rendre(to make). We also played a game two truths and a lie. In this game, you make three statements (in French), two truths and one lie, and the rest of the group had to guess which was statement was true.

I did promise to post the meeting notes on the blog and I am trying to figure out the best way to do that, please be patient with me.

We will be having the next meeting on Tuesday November 2nd, 2010 at FairGrounds Roastery and Cafe on Lakeshore and 40th from 730pm to 900pm. The following meeting will be December 7th.
